Multisensory is primarily focused play aimed at exploring the world through the senses, the aim of which is to optimally support the development of the brain and the use of the senses. During Multisensory classes, we provide children with a wide variety of stimuli that support their sensory integration. We stimulate all senses: sight, touch, smell, hearing, taste, deep feeling, balance.  

Multisensory is a space of possibilities

Development: supporting the overall development of a child (development of nerve connections in the child's brain)

Prophylactic: stops sensory deficits, i.e. too few different stimuli needed for proper development

Relaxation: calmness, relaxation, building a sense of security

Playgrounds: freeing natural creative expression in a playful form, flexible approach - going out of patterns

Relational: developing the ability to cooperate with others, deepening relationships, building awareness of the body and space

Educational: supporting cognitive development (including description of the elements of the world, understanding cause and effect relationships, presentation of substance transformation processes)

Skirning (screening): the ability to determine the child's sensory profile (in the event that the child excessively strives or avoids specific sensory stimuli, it is a signal that suggests sensory integration disorders)

Motorcycles: improvement of fine motor skills (hand and foot work) influencing the development of speech.

Multisensory are modern and innovative classes that support children's development by stimulating all senses. These are workshops that use various work methods, thus promoting harmonious improvement of skills. Thanks to them, little ones can achieve better sensory integration, which allows for optimal ability to perceive stimuli of light, sound, smells, tastes and touch.

Many parents are unaware of more than just the issues how to raise a bilingual child, but also how important multisensory is in every child's life. So what type of activity is this? Multisensory uses techniques that engage many senses at the same time allows for better and deeper communication with the world. It allows you to achieve a more complete understanding of the environment and allows you to move more efficiently in the environment. It also contributes to the development of the youngest people, helping them become more independent and cope with everyday life.

Multisensory for children at Pomarańczowa Ciuchcia

Multisensory for children at Pomarańczowa Ciuchci is a specially developed educational program that provides children with comprehensive sensorimotor development. We intertwine learning with fun through... a variety of sensory experiences, which are conducted in friendly, interesting and inspiring environment. The classes are designed to support development and sensory integration. Multisensoryka Warsaw also minimizes the risk of deficits that may result from the so-called sensory deprivation caused by an insufficient amount of various stimuli needed for the proper development of the child. During classes, the educator is able to diagnose the child's sensory profile, i.e. determine whether the child is looking for too many stimuli or consistently avoiding them. This is an important step in detecting sensory integration disorders. Thanks to multisensory caregivers learn how to appropriately stimulate their clients' senses through simple activity and play.

Sensory integration is the process by which the brain processes information received from various senses, allowing for a coordinated and purposeful response to the environment. In the everyday life of a preschooler, this is manifested by the ability to concentrate on a task despite surrounding stimuli, motor coordination during play, and the ability to cope with new sensory experiences.

Sensory integration helps children properly process sensory stimuli. As a result, children can concentrate better, participate in group activities at kindergarten, and cope with difficult emotions and stressful situations. Correct sensory integration supports the child's motor, cognitive and social-emotional development.

Sensory integration games in kindergarten should engage different senses, e.g.

  • Playing with salt dough or play dough that engages the sense of touch.
  • Using musical instruments to develop hearing.
  • Creating images using various materials (e.g. sand, rice, groats) to integrate sight and touch.
  • Using your sense of smell by smelling different materials or spices.
  • Movement games, such as hula-hooping or jumping rope, which integrate the sense of balance.
